New offices for Newcross

A nursing agency, the Newcross Group, which opened an office in Truro just a year ago has had to move to larger offices to meet the demand of its growing business. “It¹s an anniversary celebration I had never imagined,” said branch manager Emma Smith. “Business has really been booming and we now provide nurses and caring staff to homecare agencies, all hospitals and the majority of quality nursing homes throughout Cornwall.” The Newcross Group has a database of thousands of nurses and health care assistants who are regularly placed in the NHS, private hospitals, nursing homes and in patients¹ own homes. The company, which has its headquarters in Torquay, Devon, where it was launched in 1996, has branches in Plymouth, Barnstaple, Taunton, Bournemouth and Falkirk and opened its office in Truro last year.
