Tapworks, part of the world¹s largest domestic water softener manufacturer, has launched a comprehensive new range of commercial water softeners, called NorthStar. National sales manager Gary Maddison said NorthStar was already a proven range in the United States, and had been introduced into the UK to offer plumbers and installers a dedicated commercial range of water soffeners for all their customers¹ requirements. Mr Maddison said the company was confident of strong demand for installations in hotels, restaurants, sport and leisure complexes, nursing homes, etc. There are five main units in the North Star range all available in a choice of sizes and options, from simplex 3/4in valves, to 2in valves with multiple configurations and beyond. “NorthStar soffeners incorporate a number of beneficial features,” Mr Maddison said. “We manufacture and assemble the units and components in our own factory. This gives us control over every aspect, from design, specification and styling, through to quality control.
