Owen wins contract

Owen Builders have won a contract worth £1.4 million, involving refurbishment and new build work to an existing nursing home, Vi & John Rubens House in Ilford, Essex, owned and managed by Jewish Care. The contract includes building a four storey rear extension with 24 en-suite bedrooms, dismantling and remodelling existing areas of the home to create new bedsits, and the creation of a new dining room. An additional suite of rooms will be built to one side of the nursing home to serve as a mental health unit.
