Pinders’ golf day raised funds for cancer charity

Jon Chapman of Pinders steered his annual golf day to its usual success. Held at Mill Green Golf Club the metaphorical dark clouds hanging over the sector did not seem to have affected Jon’s legendary ability to deliver stunning weather for his day. A great time was had by all and the winners included Stuart Wright of Lloyds TSB as overall winner, followed by Giles Codrington of ASC Consultants. Divisional prizes went to Brendan Redmond of Bank of Ireland and Graeme Taylor of Skipton Building Society.

Jon supports charity by adding up all the players’ scores and donating that figure in pounds to the charity that the winner chooses. Several players worked hard to ensure that this figure was as high as possible and so £1307 will be donated to Stuart’s charity of choice which was the Primrose Macmillan Unit at Bedford Hospital which looked after his father who recently died of cancer.
