Provider rewards staff with fun day

Staff of Helen McArdle Care were given a big thank you recently at the biggest free family fun day the North East has probably ever seen. Held at Tynemouth Cricket Club, the fun day was held with the compliments of Helen McArdle Care for all 1,000 staff and their families and friends to give recognition to the hard work undertaken by every member of the company. More than 3,000 people attended on the day. Mark McArdle, managing director of the care home group, which operates 19 homes across the North East spread from Yarm to Morpeth, said the fun day was the company¹s way of thanking its team of loyal employees for all their hard work, and to mark the difference they had made to the lives of the residents in the past year. “We also wanted to thank the families for their support and understanding, and show our appreciation for the dedication and achievements of individuals, teams and indeed the whole company over the last 12 months,” Mr McArdle said. “I also thank our business associates and suppliers for pro
