Robinia purchases Midlands operator

Specialist care provider Robinia Care has acquired Ark Care Ltd, which operates seven care homes offering both residential and domiciliary care services based in Coventry, Birmingham and Nuneaton and also runs an expanding day care service. Bath based Robinia Care, with an annual turnover of about £30m, is rapidly expanding its portfolio of care homes. Chief executive Elizabeth Wagstaff said the acquisition of Ark Care was part of Robinia¹s ongoing strategy to grow and improve the business, both organically and through the procurement of existing high quality businesses. “Ark Care is a fantastic addition to our portfolio in a highly complementary geographical location,” Ms Wagstaff said. “We are dedicated to achieving the highest standards in terms of quality of specialist care.
