Savills team brings Matthews on board

Savills¹ healthcare team has announced the appointment of Alan Matthews as an associate, based in its Winchester office. Previously of Allied Irish Bank and director of his own healthcare business and training consultancy, Care Home Initiatives, Mr Matthews¹ experience covers all aspects of care home management from children¹s homes to the specialised sectors of elderly care provision. He has been a registered provider and a qualified RMA assessor, as well as coach and mentor to managers and proprietors of all types and sizes of home. Savills¹ director of healthcare Craig Woollam said Mr Matthews brought with him a wealth of operational and technical experience to the healthcare team. “He will add a non-agency perspective to the complex process of buying, selling and operating a care business,” Mr Woollam said. The Savills healthcare team has grown rapidly in the past two years and now has 10 dedicated specialists based in London, Winchester, Sevenoaks, Oxford and Manchester.
