Scope of regulations to be scrutinised

A conference examining the scope of regulation of domiciliary care is being held in London on Thursday, February 28 at a venue to be announced. Organised by Capita Business services Ltd the conference, entitled Homecare & Healthcare 2002 ­ Towards Effective Delivery of High Quality Homecare & Healthcare Services, will examine the new National Minimum Standards and look at putting policy in to practice. Speakers will include United Kingdom Homecare Association (UKHCA) president and National Care Standards Commission (NCSC) board member Lucianne Sawyer, Cornwall social services director Nigel Druce, and Carers National Association chief executive Diana Whitworth.
