Sexuality and dementia: a review of research literature

Hazel Heath reviews the research literature on sexuality issues for people affected by dementia and evidence to support practice for staff working with these individuals and their families. This review revealed expression of sexuality in care home environments to be particularly complex, and the importance of this research for people with dementia, families and staff is highlighted.
