Shiloh buys mobility aids supplier
Shiloh plc, a healthcare products group based at Royton, Oldham, is acquiring Lakesway Homecare Services, suppliers of mobility aids, based in Morecambe, with branches in Blackpool and Carlisle, for a maximum Â£600,000 in cash. Shiloh chairman Edmund Gartside, said Lakesway was the latest strategic addition in developing a national mobility service. Shiloh is a leading manufacturer and supplier of healthcare and hygiene products to the healthcare industry. This includes the supply of incontinence pads, cotton wool, wipes, ward packs, gowns and masks. Lakesway maintains, repairs, distributes and retails wheelchairs, scooters, lifting equipment and other mobility aids for disabled people. It has annual sales of Â£1.3 million.
