Silver Court savours visit by care sector’s favourite chef

Britain’s first TV chef Marguerite Patten has praised staff and their care home during a visit to judge Anchor Homes’ National Catering Competition.

Marguerite, who first appeared on British TV screens in the late 1940s, was invited to Silver Court in East Grinstead to taste the menus created by residents from the three homes who had reached the final.
