Statham joins Reed Health Group

Recruitment specialist the Reed Health Group has appointed Daphne Statham as a non-executive director. Ms Statham, director of the National Institute for Social Work, and with more than 30 years¹ experience in social services, education and training, will provide guidance and support to Reed¹s growing social care division. “I will be focusing on the implications of integrating the health and social care that will change the way services are delivered,” Ms Statham said. “Working with Reed Health Group to influence the future of those services will be exciting and challenging. “Temporary workers are part of the social care workforce. It is a chosen work pattern for a growing number of social work and social care staff, for at least a period in their career, who have to meet the same standards and regulations as permanent workers. “I look forward to contributing to making sure that this part of the workforce gets the recognition it deserves.” Daphne Statham is a visiting professor at Warwick University, and is
