Sussex Health Care introduces iris recognition technology

A group of care homes in Sussex has become the first in the UK to install iris recognition technology to monitor and record staff movement.

The technology – supplied by Iris recognition experts Aditech – has been installed in 16 care homes run by Sussex Health Care.

When staff arrive for work they look at the iris reader position at the entrance to the premises and this identifies them and
