Swallowcourt spends £1.5m to upgrade The Poldhu

The Poldhu care home in Mullion, Cornwall recently celebrated the completion of the major £1.5 million renovation and expansion project, which coincided with The Poldhu¹s 20th anniversary as a care home. Designed and built as a luxury hotel on the Lizard Peninsular, The Poldhu was acquired by The Swallowcourt Group in the early 1980s. Swallow Court also runs several other care homes and is the largest private provider of care for elderly people in Corwall. The Poldhu is registered as a 63-bed care home with nursing.
