Tens of thousands of older people around the UK had a wonderful time celebrating the Wedding of Prince William and Catherine last month. The Manor House nursing home in Chatburn, near Clitheroe in Lancashire, had their own celebrations in honour of the big day.

Tens of thousands of older people around the UK had a wonderful time celebrating the Wedding of Prince William and Catherine last month. The Manor House nursing home in Chatburn, near Clitheroe in Lancashire, had their own celebrations in honour of the big day.

 

Residents and staff joined together, all dressed in wedding outfits, to watch the ceremony on a big screen. They then enjoyed a wedding banquet and toasted the happy couple with a glass of champagne.
