Staff from The Manor House Nursing Home, Chatburn, are celebrating after receiving a national award recognising their Gold Standard end of life care.

Staff from The Manor House Nursing Home, Chatburn, are celebrating after receiving a national award recognising their Gold Standard end of life care.

 

Karen Walker and Cath Mellin, registered managers of The Manor House, were accompanied by Catherine Hargreaves, MacMillan nurse, and Chris Harrison, proprietor of The Manor House, to receive the prestigious award. They were presented with the award by Baroness Julia Neuberger in London at the International End of Life Care Conference at the Queen Elizabeth II conference centre.
