Unwin showcases new products

Unwin Safety Systems, which describes itself as a market leader in safe travel for wheelchair users, says it was inundated by enthusiastic visitors to the company¹s stand at the Naidex exhibition held in Birmingham in May. Unwin says its return to Naidex, after a gap of several years, was prompted by the opportunity to present the company¹s new range of Powerstep lifting platforms plus the Careva support harness and Solo restraint system direct to healthcare professionals. Unwin sales manager Gerry O¹Connor said expert technical advice on selecting and using specialist wheelchair transportation systems was provided by Unwin¹s sales team, with visitors also benefiting from product demonstrations across the range. “Our new Powerstep, Careva and Solo systems have taken us into an area of the business in which we have not previously been active,” Mr O¹Connor said. “We needed an avenue to talk direct to the healthcare professional usually involved in specifying this type of product.
