Wagstaff launches design and delivery firm

Former Robinia chief executive Elizabeth Wagstaff has launched a new venture called Specialist Care Solutions (SCS) which offers clients the planning and delivery of purpose-built care facilities. Ms Wagstaff, who recently sold her stake in Robinia Care as part of an £80m deal with Barclays Private Equity, is joined in the venture by award winning care home developer Richard Brookes and two other partners. During their time at Robinia, Ms Wagstaff and Mr Brookes oversaw the design and construction of a number of purpose-built specialist care homes. “The specialist care industry continues to require high quality purpose-built care environments and our new business, Specialist Care Solutions, is dedicated to satisfying this vital on-going demand,” said Ms Wagstaff.
