Web site is tailored to meet care sector’s needs

An invaluable internet resource for everyone involved in the long term care sector has been launched by Hawker Publications, the publishers of Caring Times, Homecare Professional and Journal of Dementia Care. Editor-in-chief of www.careinfo.org and Caring Times Dr Richard Hawkins said research had shown that what everyone wanted was a reliable, easy to use website which loaded quickly and provided instantaneous news, property updates, job opportunities and new product launches, as well as the kind of information on all aspects of care which most people would like to keep on file, but never quite get round to doing. “We believe that www.careinfo.org has made an excellent start with its weekly news service, property for sale, news archive and directory of key organisations,” Dr Hawkins said. “We urge readers to use the site. Suggestions on how we could improve the site will always be welcome. “Meanwhile, we are working on new sections to enhance further the value of www.careinfo.org for our sector.” Watch for f
