Work starts on £165m extracare project in Walsall

Construction has begun on a â£165 million project consisting of five extracare schemes under a 30 year public private partnership between Walsall Council and Housing 21.

The first of the schemes, Mattersley Court, will have 59 extracare apartments and include a day centre, restaurant, hairdressing salon, shop and wellbeing suite, all of which will be available to the local community.
