Worldwide spread of the new culture of care

In October last year Tracy Packer accompanied Tom Kitwood to the US to promote Dementia Care Mapping and train staff in its use. She reports that Tom was galvanised by what he saw as a growing consensus moving person-centred dementia care forward.
